Russian Crypto Traders Ready to Switch to Local Services
A recent survey conducted by Finam financial group found that most active cryptocurrency traders are ready to switch to Russian services as soon as they become available. The study involved over 1,500 respondents, all of whom were clients of Finam.
Of the participants, 68% already have a qualified investor status, while another 19% plan to obtain it. When asked about their readiness to trade cryptocurrencies through Russian services, 28% responded 'yes', and 57% said 'rather yes'. In total, 85% of respondents are inclined to switch to the Russian circuit.
The current situation is that most active traders work through foreign platforms: 74% use foreign crypto exchanges, while another 28% use a broker or bank in the foreign market. Some also trade on DEX protocols, MEXC, and cryptocurrency futures on the Moscow Exchange. However, activity is relatively low, only 18.2% of respondents trade daily.
The survey also found that the majority of traders operate with small amounts: for 47.1%, turnover does not exceed $1000 per month, while only 3.3% operate with amounts over $50,000. Among those who are ready to consider Russian services, 48% name an initial amount of up to 100 thousand rubles, another 28%, from 100 to 300 thousand rubles.
