RWA Market Growth Ignites Interest in LINK, XLM, and ONDO
The tokenized real-world assets (RWA) market has experienced significant growth over the past three years, expanding by 18.1 times to $44.6 million. This surge in demand is largely driven by institutional investors seeking yield-bearing products.
Ethereum remains the dominant Layer 1 settlement layer, accounting for roughly one-third of the tokenized asset market. Other notable platforms include Stellar and Avalanche, which have emerged as important issuance rails for institutional funds.
Chainlink, Ondo Finance, and Stellar are among the specialized protocols benefiting from this growth. Chainlink's oracle infrastructure provides middleware services, while Ondo Finance focuses on issuing and distributing yield-bearing traditional assets like U.S. Treasuries on-chain.
Looking at specific tokens, LINK is currently facing a major weekly test as it approaches the 200-EMA near $13.83. A breakout above this resistance could strengthen the case for a longer-term recovery. However, failure to break through may send LINK back towards lower support zones.
