RWA Perpetual DEXs Hit Record $365B Trading Volume in Q3
RWA perpetual decentralized exchanges (DEXs) saw their biggest quarter yet in terms of trading volume, reaching $365 billion in Q3 2026. This represents a significant 32% increase from Q2's roughly $203 billion.
The growth is primarily driven by public equity-related perpetual contracts, which accounted for $175 billion in volume during the quarter, or about 48% of all RWA perpetual DEX activity.
The Hyperliquid protocol's HIP-3 framework has been instrumental in this growth, providing a deep order book for RWA perpetuals and attracting traders who might otherwise opt for centralized platforms.
