S&P Global Ratings has awarded its highest principal stability fund rating to BlackRock's new tokenized money market fund, the Daily Reinvestment Stablecoin Reserve Vehicle (BRSRV).

The 'AAAm' rating was assigned on Monday due to the creditworthiness of BRSRV's investments and counterparties, as well as its maturity structure and management's ability to maintain a stable net asset value.

S&P identified no weaknesses in BlackRock Advisors' management and organization, credit research and analysis, risk management, and compliance. The fund's tokenization framework was also deemed operationally resilient, with controls in place to mitigate cyber, smart contract, and blockchain network risks.

BRSRV will hold cash, US Treasury securities maturing in 93 days or less, and overnight repurchase agreements secured by Treasury instruments. It aims to maintain a weighted average maturity of no more than 60 days and a weighted average life of no more than 120 days.
