Same Address, Different Wallets: Understanding Crypto Wallet Addresses
Crypto wallet addresses are often misunderstood to be tied directly to specific wallets. However, it's entirely possible for two completely independent wallets to have the same address.
This can occur when a recovery phrase or private key is imported into multiple compatible wallet applications. In such cases, both wallets will display and control the same blockchain address, even if they're running on different devices or platforms.
The cryptographic probability of an accidental address collision is extremely low, making it unlikely for two completely independent wallets to generate the same address by chance.
