Samsung Expands Mobile Payments with Stablecoin Support

Samsung Electronics plans to expand its mobile payments and rewards platform by adding support for stablecoins in its Samsung Wallet. The company is moving toward integrating payments, rewards, and digital assets into a single wallet experience.

'Samsung Wallet will expand beyond cash and savings,' said Lee Dinham, a product manager at Samsung. 'It will embrace new forms of digital value, including stablecoins.'

This marks the latest step in Samsung's efforts to integrate blockchain-based assets into its broader mobile ecosystem. The company has not disclosed which stablecoins it plans to support or its launch timeline.
