SAND Price Jumps 52% as Korean Exchanges Lift Trading Warnings
The Sandbox's native token, SAND, saw a significant price surge after three major Korean exchanges lifted their trading warnings. The removal of the warnings on Coinone, Bithumb, and Upbit led to a rise of up to 52% in SAND's price, with it reaching $0.0736 before pulling back to $0.0683.
The token's futures volume exceeded $884 million in 24 hours, about 5.7 times spot volume, with $4.4 million in liquidated positions, mostly shorts. The restoration of deposits and withdrawals on these exchanges will also allow holders to move SAND to exchanges to sell it, which may lead to additional supply entering the market.
Technical analysis identifies the $0.060-$0.062 zone as a key horizontal support level for SAND. Maintaining the price above the 200-session moving average near $0.0571 would strengthen the validity of the breakout.
