Satoshi Nakamoto's Bitcoin Fortune Surges by Nearly $15 Billion

The value of Bitcoin held by Satoshi Nakamoto has surged by nearly $15 billion following an August rally that saw the cryptocurrency's price jump by over 22% in just seven days.

According to blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence, wallets attributed to Satoshi contain approximately 1.096 million BTC spread across around 22,000 addresses.

The exact amount owned by Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator remains uncertain due to the lack of conclusive evidence regarding Satoshi's identity and complete wallet holdings.

At Bitcoin's current price of about $78,280, Arkham estimates the Satoshi-linked Bitcoin holdings are worth approximately $85.82 billion, up from around $71 billion before the rally began.
