Saylor Clarifies 'Never Sell Your Bitcoin' Stance Amid BTC Sales

Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor has clarified his stance on not selling Bitcoin after being questioned by cryptocurrency critic Peter Schiff. In a recent post, Saylor stated that he personally never sells his Bitcoin and still holds onto it. He differentiated his personal investment stance from Strategy's corporate responsibilities, pointing out that the company may buy or sell BTC to manage capital.

Saylor's clarification comes after Strategy announced its Board of Directors had authorized a BTC Monetization Program under which the company may sell BTC from time to time. The program was used last week when Strategy raised $104.73 million with the sale of 1,638 Bitcoin and an additional $290.6 million through the sale of common stock.

Peter Schiff responded to Saylor's clarification by stating that Saylor knew he was creating a different impression with his previous messages and failed to clarify it at the time. He claimed that this created confusion among investors and undermined their trust in Strategy's leadership.
