Saylor Denies Selling Personal Bitcoin Amid Company Sale
Michael Saylor, chairman of Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), clarified that he has never sold any of his personally held Bitcoin. This statement comes a day after the company disclosed it sold 1,637 BTC as part of its capital management strategy.
Saylor emphasized that Strategy's treasury operations are distinct from his personal wallet and that the company's history of buying and selling Bitcoin is well-documented since 2020.
The recent sale represents a small fraction of Strategy's total holdings, which exceed 500,000 BTC. Saylor reiterated that the company's conviction in Bitcoin remains unchanged.
