Saylor Sees Opportunity Amidst CLARITY Bill Failure
Michael Saylor, chairman of Strategy and bitcoin advocate, remains optimistic about the future growth of Bitcoin despite the failure of the CLARITY bill in the U.S. Senate.
In a recent statement, Saylor emphasized that the legislative setback does not mean the end of Bitcoin or the broader crypto ecosystem.
He drew a line between the bill's failure and the market's potential, stating that 'the necessary clarity can be created under existing laws' and that institutional adjustments can continue regardless of Senate delays.
Saylor highlighted the roles of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the U.S. Treasury in creating market clarity through interpretation and enforcement.
He also pointed to an expanded role for banks as a key factor, expecting financial institutions to broaden Bitcoin custody services and expand loans backed by Bitcoin.
