Saylor Unveils Digital Bill of Rights Framework
Michael Saylor, executive chairman of Strategy and co-founder, has proposed a 'digital bill of rights' to promote the prosperity of the future economy.
The framework focuses on five fundamental freedoms: creation and issuance of new digital assets, custody choice, transferability, and use in everyday economic activities such as spending and investing.
Saylor argues that these freedoms are essential for unlocking the full potential of AI-driven economies and enabling rapid business formation and capital access.
He emphasizes that policy and market design should prioritize owner control over digital assets to drive real economic value, rather than imposing restrictions that limit utility.
