Saylor's Strategy Adds $76M Worth of Bitcoin, Boosts Holdings to $74B
Michael Saylor's Strategy Inc., a prominent Bitcoin investor, has acquired an additional 950 Bitcoins worth $76 million. This brings its total holdings to 846,000 Bitcoins valued at $74 billion.
The Virginia-based company made this purchase after a three-week pause in buying and has also repurchased $174 million of its preferred stock. Strategy's share price has increased by 9% since the start of the trading week on Monday, now trading at around $168 per share.
Saylor has been a vocal Bitcoin evangelist, encouraging investors to 'keep the Bitcoin' in a social media post from February last year. Despite the recent fluctuations in Bitcoin's price, which peaked at over $126,000 in September 2025 but dropped sharply since then, Saylor remains optimistic about the digital token.
The crypto industry has faced challenges, including the failure of the Clarity Act to pass a key test vote in the Senate. The bill aimed to regulate stablecoin issuers and ensure they are not policed with the same federal oversight as stocks and bonds on Wall Street.
