Strategy Inc., led by executive chairman Michael Saylor, has continued its shift away from buying Bitcoin. In the week ending August 16th, no Bitcoin was acquired or sold, marking seven consecutive weeks without new cryptocurrency purchases.

The company raised $333.7 million through common stock sales during this period, which will be used to repurchase preferred shares and boost cash reserves. Since late June, Strategy has sold approximately $2.1 billion of its common stock while buying back about $347 million in STRC preferred shares.

Additionally, the firm has sold $213.3 million worth of its Bitcoin holdings over the past five weeks, growing its cash reserves to $4.8 billion. Some funds have been allocated to servicing preferred share interest payments, with dividend coverage now extended to 2.8 years.
