Saylor's Strategy Skips Bitcoin Again, Spends Another $139M on STRC Buybacks

Michael Saylor's Strategy (MSTR) has maintained its Bitcoin holdings steady for a third consecutive week, leaving its stash of approximately 845,050 coins unchanged. This decision comes amidst broader market fluctuations and as investors watch to see if Bitcoin can break through the $80,000 mark this week. Meanwhile, MSTR used its USD Cash pool reserve to repurchase STRC preferred stock for the third straight week, buying back around 1.42 million shares for $139.3 million.

The repeated buybacks have reduced Strategy's flexible USD Cash pool from $1.59 billion in late August to $1.30 billion over the past three weeks, a decline of roughly $290 million. This reduction broadly matches the $454.9 million spent on STRC repurchases over the same period.

MSTR stock edged 0.8% higher in pre-market trade despite broader market weakness. The company's separate USD Reserve, earmarked for preferred dividends and debt interest, has remained unchanged at $5.10 billion throughout this period.
