SBCFX Investors Face Hefty Losses Amid London Gold Trading Anomaly
A recent trading anomaly has left investors of SBCFX's London Gold (XAUUSD) derivative products in a precarious situation. The platform, which claims to be a regulated international trading platform, allowed its users to trade with up to 500 times leverage. On August 19th, a massive wave of automated trades was triggered within a timeframe of 1-3 seconds, resulting in the depletion of users' accounts and some even facing negative balance issues.
According to multiple sources, over 2000 to 3000 investors have been affected by this incident, with many coming from mainland China. These investors claim that they had invested through SBCFX's platform using USDT (Tether) stablecoins, which has complicated the process of tracking their funds.
The affected investors have begun to file complaints with the Hong Kong police and are demanding that SBCFX adhere to its previously stated policy of limiting losses to 30% in such cases. The platform has not yet responded to these demands or provided any statement regarding this incident.
