SBF's $1M+ Uniswap Domain Deal Exposed, Redirected Traffic to SushiSwap
Hayden Adams, founder of Uniswap, revealed that Sam Bankman-Fried purchased the domain Uniswap.com for a seven-figure sum in 2021. The team behind Uniswap had initially declined the offer.
The domain was later redirected to SushiSwap. A World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) decision deemed this use as bad faith and transferred the address to Uniswap Labs without compensation.
It is unclear whether the previous owner, Sam Bankman-Fried, received any reimbursement for his purchase.
