SBI Group Joins dtcpay $25M Series A Funding Round
Dtcpay, a Singapore-based payment company, has secured additional funding from Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Group, extending its Series A round to $25 million. The initial tranche of $25 million was led by Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India in April.
The investment reflects institutional confidence in dtcpay's vision of making stablecoins as seamless and accessible as traditional financial services.
According to Alice Liu, founder and CEO of dtcpay, the funding round is not about sustaining existing progress but rather 'fundamentally changing how money moves across borders.'
Dtcpay has made significant strides in the stablecoin payments space, with its Visa card enabling spending across both fiat and stablecoins at over 150 million merchant locations worldwide.
