SBI Group Joins dtcpay's $25M Series A to Boost Stablecoin Adoption

Share

Singapore-based dtcpay has completed a $25 million Series A funding round led by Vertex Ventures, with SBI Group joining as a strategic investor.

The capital will support the expansion of stablecoin and merchant payment infrastructure. dtcpay operates payment infrastructure that lets merchants and businesses move between fiat and digital assets.

Stablecoins have become increasingly attractive to payment companies because they can make cross-border settlement quicker without requiring businesses to hold volatile crypto assets.

SBI's participation gives the deal a strategic angle, with the Japanese financial group already having a significant footprint across banking, securities, and digital assets.
