Schiff Criticizes Strategy's Bitcoin Trading Strategy

Peter Schiff has criticized Strategy's Bitcoin transactions, pointing out that they sold 6,948 BTC at an average price of about $62,150 and later bought back some of their holdings above $80,000.

Schiff highlighted the significant difference in prices between the sale and subsequent purchase. He noted that Strategy's previous sales involved selling Bitcoin for approximately $431.8 million in net proceeds, equivalent to about $62,150 per coin.

The company has continued to accumulate Bitcoin despite making several sales this year. Since the beginning of 2026, they have purchased roughly 175,000 BTC while selling around 7,000 BTC.
