Schiff Predicts Saylor Will Sell Strategy's BTC Holdings at Lower Prices
Peter Schiff has predicted that Michael Saylor's company Strategy will be forced to sell its over 500,000 Bitcoin holdings at lower prices. This is not a new claim from Schiff, who has argued that leveraged accumulation of BTC poses significant risks to holders. According to Schiff, the outcome of such an event is 'near-term certainty.' At the time of writing, Bitcoin's price stands at $86,105, up 0.28% in the past 24 hours.
Strategy, formerly known as MicroStrategy, has a substantial BTC position on its balance sheet, with no disclosed reduction in holdings. Schiff's argument centers on the risk of margin calls or debt obligations forcing liquidation during a prolonged Bitcoin downturn. This is not the first time Schiff has expressed his concerns about Saylor's strategy.
