Schwartz Slashes XRP Holdings by 92%

Ripple's CTO Emeritus David Schwartz has revealed his current XRP holdings. In a recent post, he stated that he now owns approximately 2 million XRP tokens, down from a peak of around 26 million. This represents a significant reduction of about 92%.

Schwartz did not provide an explanation for the decline in his holdings, leaving it open to speculation as to whether he sold all or part of his XRP tokens or transferred them elsewhere.

This latest disclosure is consistent with Schwartz's history of managing risk and reducing personal exposure to crypto volatility. He has previously explained that he sold a substantial amount of XRP when the token traded at around $0.10, citing concerns over price fluctuations.
