Scroll DeFi TVL Plummets to 98.5% of Peak Value Amid Ethereum Revenue Decline
Scroll's decentralized finance (DeFi) total value locked (TVL) has plummeted to $8.65 million, a staggering 98.5% decline from its peak of about $585 million recorded on October 17, 2024.
The Ethereum Layer 2 network generated approximately $450 in chain revenue over the past 30 days, with daily revenue averaging around $15 after deducting Ethereum batch-submission costs from Layer 2 fee revenue.
On two consecutive days, October 1 and 2 UTC, the daily chain revenue was negative $29 and $51, respectively. This indicates that the network is currently experiencing a downturn in revenue.
