SEC Approves XRP Treasury Merger Ahead of NASDAQ Listing
Ripple's XRP treasury is one step closer to launching on Wall Street after a major merger approval. The SEC has given the green light to the Evernorth and Armada Acquisition Corp. II merger, which will see 473 million XRP moved to a repository upon completion.
The merger was approved by nearly 69% of shareholders at an extraordinary general meeting on September 30, 2026, with a whopping 19,331,337 shares voting in favor and just 1.36 million against it.
The approval is a significant milestone for the XRP treasury, which could potentially list on NASDAQ by year-end under the XRPN ticker. The merger deal will see Armada's existing XRP-based assets, including class A ordinary shares (XRPN) and warrants (XRPNW), combined into a new firm trading under the XRPN ticker.
