SEC Delays Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF Registration Until October 2026
The Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF's registration has been delayed until October 11, 2026. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) made this decision after a new filing was submitted by Listed Funds Trust, which manages various exchange-traded products in the U.S. market.
The Teucrium 2x Short Daily XRP ETF is designed to offer amplified inverse exposure to XRP price movements. This means that if XRP declines by 3% on a given trading day, the ETF seeks to generate a gain of approximately 6%, before accounting for fees and expenses.
The delay affects only the registration effectiveness and not the underlying approval process, meaning that regulatory review is ongoing. Other ETF applicants remain active as institutional interest in regulated crypto products continues to build.
