SEC Files Licensing Deal for 21Shares XRP ETF Tracking Index
The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a Benchmark Licensing Agreement between 21Shares US LLC and FTSE International for the FTSE XRP Index.
This index underlies the 21Shares XRP ETF, which has been trading on the Cboe BZX Exchange since December 2025.
The ETF tracks XRP's price by holding the digital asset directly without leverage or derivatives.
FTSE's standardized index methodology will be used in this ETF, as confirmed by the regulatory filing.
The 21Shares XRP ETF has grown to $247.7 million in net assets shortly after its launch, indicating increasing institutional interest amid easing regulatory clarity around XRP.
