SEC Postpones Crypto Rules Meeting Due to Last-Minute Cancellation
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed its meeting on proposed crypto offering rules due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict.
The agency had planned to meet on August 14, but canceled the session shortly before it began.
The proposal remains under review despite the delayed vote.
SEC Chair Paul Atkins has described the framework as part of a broader effort to provide greater certainty for digital asset markets.
