SEC Shift Sends Injective's Perpetual Volume Soaring
Injective's RWA perpetual markets have generated over $5.3 billion in volume since early 2025, according to CoinGecko.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has moved to clear firms for regulated stock perpetuals, a shift that Injective considers a turning point for American markets.
Injective's onchain perpetual markets have been in operation since 2021, longer than most rivals in the sector, and have powered more than $81 billion in trading volume across RWAs, stocks, and crypto combined.
The company said that this move reverses a decade-long trend of liquidity, talent, and builders drifting overseas due to lagging U.S. regulations.
