In a post on X, Atkins expressed gratitude towards those who worked on the legislation and reiterated his commitment to providing certainty for American investors and entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

The CLARITY Act aimed to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets but ultimately did not advance. Despite this setback, Atkins has emphasized that the SEC will proceed with regulatory action within its existing legal authority.
