SEC's Reg Crypto Plan Could Revive US Token Fundraising
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proposed a new rule called Reg Crypto, which could revive token fundraising on Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain in the United States.
The proposal emphasizes newly minted tokens for fundraising, not tokenized shares of an existing stock or other securities.
Grayscale believes that if its tokens are successfully funded, they will create activity outside of the issuers, including users, transactions, liquidity, and application usage on public blockchains.
