Sectora Launches Quantum Cybersecurity Token SECT with 50 Million Supply Cap
The Sectora Foundation has launched #SECT, a new token designed for quantum cybersecurity and real-world asset (RWA) tokenization. The token debuts at $0.10 with a fixed supply of 50 million, giving it a market cap of $5 million. It is now available on Uniswap with $1 million in locked liquidity and listed on CoinGecko.
Sectora Shield, the project's post-quantum security engine, is built on NIST FIPS 203, 204, and 205 standards and is currently in testnet. The platform also offers smart contract audits, custody controls, and an asset tokenization platform. A unique feature is a planned 50% burn of the token supply, reducing it to 25 million, with additional burns funded by 80% of future Validation Network revenue.
The token's contract is renounced, has no mint function, and charges 0% transaction fees. It has been audited by Cyberscope. The founders emphasize a long-term approach, rejecting pump-and-dump strategies. They highlight the project's fixed supply, locked liquidity, and public audit as key strengths.
At its current market cap, #SECT is significantly smaller than established networks like XRP ($93 billion) or Solana ($70 billion). The whitepaper suggests that reaching just 1% of those valuations could push #SECT's price to $18.76 or $14.05, though this is purely illustrative.
