Securitize Drives Tokenized Stocks Market to New Heights
Securitize has made significant strides in the tokenized stocks market, contributing over $251 million to its growth in the past month. The company's total tokenized assets under management now sit between $4 billion and $5 billion, including funds managed in partnership with BlackRock. Securitize's dominance is evident across multiple chains, particularly on Avalanche, where its tokenized assets surged 628% to approximately $770 million by mid-September 2026.
The company's tokenized equities market has ballooned from under $20 million in late 2024 to roughly $3.1 billion at its recent peak. Securitize's $251 million monthly contribution suggests the acceleration hasn't peaked yet. The appeal of tokenized stocks lies in their structural advantages over traditional counterparts, including compressed settlement times, easy fractional ownership, and automated compliance.
CEO Carlos Domingo has framed the opportunity in terms that are hard to ignore, suggesting a small fraction of the $100 trillion US equities market migrating on-chain could create significant value. A 2% shift would represent $2 trillion in tokenized equities, roughly 650 times the current market size.
