Seeker Token Price Surges 110% as 'Seeker Summer' Campaign Boosts Demand

The Solana Mobile project Seeker's native token SKR has seen its price surge by over 110% in a single day, outperforming the broader crypto market. The significant price jump is attributed to the 'Seeker Summer' campaign, which incentivized users to participate in the ecosystem and claim their token rewards. Instead of triggering selling pressure, the reward claims have been followed by increased buying activity, boosting SKR's trading volume.

The amount of SKR currently locked through staking has also contributed to the price increase. Over 4.93 billion SKR, or roughly 49% of its maximum supply, is currently staked. This limited freely available supply has led to a sharp rise in demand, resulting in more pronounced price moves.

Seeker's 24-hour trading volume has jumped by an impressive 622%, reaching over $309.9 million. The increase in trading volume alongside the price suggests that the rally is backed by strong market activity rather than a few trades. This has led to significant losses for short sellers, with around $4.83 million in short positions liquidated.
