SEI Breaks Out Above Resistance as Proposed ETF Structure Tightens Supply
SEI has experienced a significant surge in price after weeks of trading below the $0.052 resistance level, breaking out to $0.06285 and gaining over 25% in 24 hours with daily volume surging to $203.44 million, a 289% increase according to CoinMarketCap data.
This breakout has been attributed to broader market participation rather than speculation, as indicated by the substantial increase in trading activity.
However, this rapid price movement has left little support for SEI above $0.052, with the RSI standing at 87.64, indicating that momentum has reached extreme levels.
The proposed ETF structure by Canary Capital, which plans to stake approximately 90% of its SEI holdings, could further tighten supply and limit available tokens in circulation, potentially amplifying SEI's response to demand.
