Sei Network Gains Momentum as ETF Filing Looms and Trading Volumes Rise
The Sei Network is gaining traction after REX Shares and Osprey Funds filed an amendment to their Staked SEI ETF, which is set to become effective on October 23, 2026.
The ETF will allow investors to gain spot exposure to SEI while staking the tokens, a unique feature compared to traditional spot products. This move comes after Sei Network announced upgrades in September, giving it further media attention as a regulatory achievement.
The current market activity has driven the SEI price up significantly from its September low of $0.043 to around $0.075 on September 25, with over 325 million SEI traded on Binance that day. The technical setup indicates mixed signals, with the RSI close to 45 and MACD still below zero.
Investors will be watching whether the ETF moves forward and gets listed, which could create a mechanism for investors to gain exposure to SEI without owning the token directly. However, the current situation remains volatile, and neither the ETF filing nor rising trading volumes guarantee a continuation of the rally.
