Sei Network has reported a 41% increase in holders of tokenized US Treasuries over the past three months, highlighting growing activity in its real-world asset (RWA) ecosystem. The network now ranks as the 15th largest chain for RWAs, with approximately $275.51 million in tokenized value, surpassing established networks like Plume Network, Algorand, and Optimism.
The latest figures follow other signs of rising participation. Sei Network's data shows a 24% increase in holders of tokenized assets over the past month, while transfer volume surged 155% to $18 million. As of October 22, the network had 2,511 addresses holding tokenized real-world assets, valued at $291,045,594, according to RWA.xyz.
Tokenized Treasuries have been a key focus for Sei Network since Ondo Finance launched its flagship tokenized U.S. Treasury token, USDY, on the platform. Sei has also been attracting institutional issuers, with tokenized fund products appearing via platforms such as Kyo and Securitize.
The broader market context shows tokenized real-world assets totaling about $38.8 billion on-chain, with tokenized US Treasuries being the largest category at around $15.7 billion. While Sei's share remains small, the growth in holders suggests increasing adoption.
