Senate Advances Toward Vote on Bipartisan Crypto Regulation Bill

The CLARITY Act, a bill aimed at regulating cryptocurrencies in the US, is making progress in the Senate. Bipartisan negotiations have intensified, and it's possible that the bill could secure the required 60-vote procedural vote before recess.

This would enable final action on the crypto regulation bill in September. However, Majority Leader John Thune must first clear other business and accelerate the schedule. Democrats retain power to delay but not block the bill.
