September Bitcoin Transfers Slow Down but Remain Above July
In September, less Bitcoin (BTC) moved from inactive wallets compared to August, but still exceeded July's levels. A total of about 5,400 BTC changed hands. Wallets created in 2016 made up the largest reported group, with 1,556.53 BTC moving across 13 transactions. The oldest transfers involved coins that had been dormant for 12-16 years, totaling around 57 transactions.
The largest daily amount transferred on September 6 was 1,620.39 BTC. On September 5, there were approximately 24 transfers. These movements don't indicate whether the funds were sold, consolidated, or moved for another reason.
