September Crypto Hacks Total $766M with Bitget and Liquid Leading Losses

Crypto hackers struck again in September, resulting in an estimated $766.49 million in losses, according to PeckShield's count of major hacks.

This represents a staggering 462% increase from August's total of $136.3 million in losses, with two incidents accounting for nearly the entire amount.

Bitget and Liquid were among the exchange platforms hit hardest by these attacks, which highlight the ongoing vulnerability of the cryptocurrency market to cyber threats.
