SharpLink Gaming reported a net loss of $2.3 million for the fourth quarter of 2024, a wider deficit compared to the $1.8 million loss in the same period last year. The company attributed the decline to increased operating expenses and one-time restructuring costs related to its pivot toward blockchain-based gaming solutions.

Despite the loss, SharpLink's revenue grew 12% year-over-year to $4.1 million, driven by its new Web3 gaming platform. However, the market reacted negatively, with shares dropping 5% in after-hours trading.

In contrast, BitMine continued its aggressive share buyback program and additional Ethereum acquisitions, adding 2,500 ETH for approximately $8.5 million to its total holdings of 45,000 coins.
