SHIB Price Plunges as Apeing's Pre-Launch Narrative Gains Momentum
On August 21, Nomura announced that Laser Digital Japan had completed registration with Japan's Financial Services Agency. The registration listed six initial assets: Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and SHIB.
The same day, SHIB was green-listed by the JVCEA in the context of the registration. However, this news was overshadowed on August 24 when SHIB's price dropped to $0.0000055 following an approximately 11.8% decline over the past 24 hours.
Apeing, a separate project, has been gaining attention with its own pre-launch narrative. The project claims to have over 12,000 registrations on its email whitelist and plans to launch at a Stage 1 price of $0.0001. Apeing's presale is expected around early September, according to the project's statements.
The project also mentions a listing target of $0.01, which would represent a 100x increase from the initial price. While this information can be found on the Apeing website, it is essential to note that these claims are part of the project's promotional narrative and not observed trading results.
