SHIB Token-Burning Activity Surges as Potential Reversal Setup Emerges
The Shiba Inu (SHIB) price has shown mixed signals as elevated token-burning activity coincides with an attempt to improve its technical structure. Shibburn reported that 6,214,627 SHIB tokens were destroyed over a 24-hour period, while the daily burn rate increased by 52.66%. The tracker also recorded a significant rise in the amount of SHIB being removed from circulation over that period.
The developments are relevant to the near-term Shiba Inu price prediction, but they do not yet establish that a sustained reversal is underway. SHIB remains below several important technical levels, and another TradingView analysis continues to identify a sequence of lower highs and lower lows as evidence that sellers retain control.
A potential early reversal setup has emerged around the current corrective phase. The bullish RSI divergence, consolidation breakout, higher high, and possible head-and-shoulders structure suggest that sellers may be losing some momentum. However, the existing downtrend remains intact, with SHIB trading below the 50-day and 100-day exponential moving averages.
