Shiba Inu Community Warned of Widespread Token Scams Threatening TREAT

The Shiba Inu community has been issued a crucial warning about potential scams involving tokens that resemble the TREAT token. According to long-time community member Mazrael, there are over 366 tokens on Ethereum alone with the TREAT ticker, which is separate from the official TREAT token used in the Shiba Inu ecosystem.

Mazrael expressed concern that people who claim there are only two tokens with the TREAT ticker may be intentionally misleading users to facilitate scams. The warning emphasizes the importance of verifying contract addresses and not relying solely on a token's ticker to identify it.
