Shiba Inu Exchange Holdings Near Record 87 Trillion SHIB Amid Supply Pressure
Shiba Inu exchange holdings have risen to near 87 trillion SHIB, a significant milestone that could impact supply and demand pressure. According to U.Today's report on September 1, Shiba Inu exchange reserves stood at approximately 86.9973 trillion SHIB, leaving only 2.7 billion SHIB to reach the 87 trillion mark.
The increase in exchange holdings is not substantial, but it is enough to surpass 87 trillion SHIB without additional large transfers. This could indicate an increase in supply that can be traded or sold immediately.
Money flows are also shifting towards exchanges, with total inflows totaling 271.53 billion SHIB and total outflows at 222.25 billion SHIB. Net inflows were approximately 34.47 billion SHIB, showing that inflows exceed outflows.
However, more detailed indicators are mixed. The 7-day moving average of exchange outflows decreased by 40.62% to around 502.1 million SHIB, while total outflows rose by 0.5%. This suggests that a clear trend of rapidly reducing exchange holdings is not yet evident.
The price movement of Shiba Inu also aligns with this trend, rebounding near $0.000005 and currently trading at approximately $0.00000518. This is close to the short-term average at $0.00000501 and the 100-day exponential moving average at $0.00000498.
The relative strength index (RSI) is around 54, indicating a neutral to mild bullishness rather than overheated. However, overhead resistance remains, with the 200-day exponential moving average at $0.00000570.
