Shiba Inu Exchange Reserves Surge to Four-Month High Amid Price Pressure
Shiba Inu exchange reserves have reached a four-month high, according to data from CryptoQuant. The reserves now stand at 88 trillion SHIB, the highest level since early June. This increase is accompanied by a positive exchange netflow, with more than 288 billion SHIB moving into exchanges than leaving them during the reported period.
The rising exchange balance can increase the supply of tokens readily available for trading, as assets transferred from external wallets become accessible within exchange markets. However, the data does not reveal what happened to every token after it arrived on an exchange, and some deposits may remain untouched while others could be used for trading or other purposes.
Shiba Inu declined nearly 3% over the preceding 24 hours, adding to concerns surrounding the token's stalled recovery. The combination of falling prices and rising exchange reserves has drawn attention to the possibility that sellers could exert greater influence over SHIB.
