Shiba Inu Roars Back with Best Q3 Performance in Five Years
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has recorded its strongest third-quarter performance in five years, with a cumulative return of 44.1% in Q3 2026.
This marks a significant shift from previous trends, where Shiba Inu's average return in September was just 5.5%. However, this year, the token rose 12.2% in July, gained 7.55% in August, and added another 19.4% in September.
The rebound is attributed to expanding liquidity across the overall market, rather than a token-specific catalyst. As the total cryptocurrency market capitalization rose from $2.15 trillion to $2.89 trillion, Shiba Inu's charts reflected signals of a break from the downtrend that continued throughout last year.
Market attention is shifting to October, known as 'Uptober', where Shiba Inu's historical average return is 167.5%, heavily influenced by the 833.6% surge recorded in October 2021.
