Shiba Inu Whale Activity Surges to 835 Billion Tokens in 24 Hours
Shiba Inu has seen another surge of whale activity in the last 24 hours, with over 835 billion tokens moving through exchanges. This massive movement is part of a larger trend of institutional-sized wallets actively managing their exposure to $SHIB following its recent breakout.
The data from CryptoQuant shows that while exchange inflows exceeded 1.29 trillion tokens, outflows reached 771 billion, resulting in a net exchange flow of about 512 billion tokens. This indicates that whales are redistributing holdings rather than simply liquidating positions, which often coincides with periods of high volatility.
Despite the significant movement, network participation remains steady, with both active addresses and receiving addresses showing modest increases. Exchange reserves rose slightly to almost 86.8 trillion $SHIB, suggesting that new deposits are entering the market while withdrawals continue.
