Shiba Inu Whale Breaks Silence with $2.21M SHIB Transfer to BitGo

A Shiba Inu whale has broken its three-year silence by transferring 407.99 billion SHIB tokens to BitGo, sparking speculation about an imminent sale or internal fund transfer.

The transaction occurred on September 6, 2026, when the whale moved $2.21 million worth of SHIB from a dormant wallet that had received its allocation on July 16, 2023.

This move mirrors a similar transaction recorded last week, where another major Shiba Inu whale sent 600 billion SHIB to BitGo through the same routing mechanism.

The broader market has seen more SHIB withdrawn from exchanges than deposited over the past 24 hours, with $77.59 billion in net outflows, according to CryptoQuant data.
