Shiba Inu's Record-Breaking Burn Falls Flat Amid Enormous Supply
The Shiba Inu (SHIB) token saw an astonishing 31,712% spike in daily burns on September 20, but experts warn that this may not have a significant impact on its price. Approximately 72.23 million SHIB were burned, which is a tiny fraction of the token's massive circulating supply of around 589 trillion.
This event has drawn attention to SHIB's supply-reduction strategy, but it remains unclear whether it will lead to lasting demand. In contrast, Remittix (RTX) is taking a different approach by building products that generate repeated activity across payments, trading, storage, and earning.
Remittix aims to create utility through its central service, which accepts over 50 crypto pairs and settles funds into bank accounts across more than 30 fiat currencies. This could attract real users who make cross-border payments regardless of meme-market conditions.
