Shiba Inu's Stagnant Burn Rate Threatens Price Uptrend

Shiba Inu's recent success may be short-lived according to certain indicators. Historically, September has been a weak month for the meme coin, with three out of five instances ending in the red. This year was no exception, as July and August saw the price close in the green, but it remains to be seen if this trend will continue.

One concerning factor is Shiba Inu's burn rate, which has declined by 6% on a monthly scale. The burning mechanism aims to reduce supply and increase value, but with less than 600 million tokens sent to a null address in August, activity on this front appears stagnant.

Another issue is the stalled activity of Shibarium, the layer-2 scaling solution that has been instrumental in advancing Shiba Inu's ecosystem. Since its exploitation last year, daily transactions have dropped significantly, with some days seeing only hundreds or thousands processed.
